Big match on the 8th day of Ligue 1! This Saturday, OGC Nice will host Olympique Lyonnais at the Allianz Riviera. Far from shining since the start of the season, Les Aiglons are only in 12th place in the French championship. They are expected to be in the race for Europe, but have not won in their last three games. A reaction is therefore expected from Franck Haise's team. After a turbulent summer and the threat of relegation to Ligue 2, Lyon quickly refocused on the sporting side of things. After the first seven games, the Rhône-based club is in fourth place in the standings, just one point behind the leaders. Lyon have already enjoyed five league wins, all thanks to a particularly solid defense. Before the international break, however, Paulo Fonseca's men were surprised by Toulouse FC (1-2). They are hoping to get back on track this weekend.
