Despite the Marlins being on a roll, it was the Orioles, last in their division, who emerged as favorites at betting sites with odds around -150, in a great game where O'Hearn responded as the Orioles' fourth hitter, while the Marlins had another poor night batting wise. This weekend's series pits Jason Junk of the Marlins, who has a 3-1 record with a 3.12 ERA and a 10.4 WHIP in 43.1 IP, against Trevor Rogers of the O's, who has a 2-0 record, a 1.57 ERA, and a 24-strikeout record in 28.2 IP.
Rogers will then face his former team, the Marlins, in an Orioles uniform. He fared well in his last outing against the Braves, allowing an infield hit to Profar to start the game and then holding the Braves hitless for six full innings.
But Junk also had a spectacular outing in his last outing, where he also held the Reds to just one hit over six innings.
