The New York Yankees will try to pull off an encore performance in Saturday’s Game 2 after giving the Chicago Cubs an 11-0 beatdown in the series opener at Yankee Stadium.

The Cubs have dropped three of their last four games, sliding to 55-39 in the season. Chicago is in danger of conceding the No.1 spot in the NL Central Division to the fast-rising Milwaukee Brewers (54-40) over the weekend if they don’t find a solution to their pitching that has been ailing recently.
