Alexander Bublik of Kazakhstan will go for his second straight clay-court finals on Friday when he takes on Botic Van De Zandschulp of the Netherlands at the 2025 Generali Open in Kitzbühel, Austria.
Bubik gets another chance to book his place in another ATP Tour-level championship match following a surgical win over compatriot Alexander Shevchenko 6-4 6-2. Bublik won 96 percent of his first serves and landed five aces to hold all his serves in his second duel with Shevchenko in two weeks. Bublik has now won his last six matches on clay and 11 of his last 12 matches on the tour.
Van De Zandschulp punched his ticket to the semis with a 7-6(2) 6-2 win over Thiago Seyboth-Wild of Brazil. After surviving testy battles with Nicolas Jarry of Chile 6-4 4-6 6-3 and Filip Misolic of Austria 6-3 7-6(4), the Dutchman exhibited nerves of steel to outlast his Brazilian foe in the first-set tiebreaker before pouncing on a disheartened Seyboth-Wild in the second set.

Our Alexander Bublik vs Botic Van De Zandschulp Prediction
Bet on Botic Van De Zandschulp to at least cover the spread with a +3.5-game headstart. I understand the buzz around Bublik, who has been killing it with a 6-0 record on clay over the past two weeks. However, Van De Zandschulp has also demonstrated a high level of tennis in this tournament, beating his last three opponents by attacking their serves. Van De Zandschulp might have only converted 9 of 19 breakpoint chances in three matches, but creating that many breakpoint opportunities means the Dutchman has also won a bunch of points as a returner. Bublik is no doubt an overwhelming moneyline pick because of his current form, yet Van De Zandschulp, who is 2-0 vs. the Kazakh in their head-to-head series, emerges as an attractive pick to cover in this matchup.
Our betting prediction for Botic Van De Zandschulp vs. Alexander Bublik: Botic Van De Zandschulp: Botic Van De Zandschulp +3.5 Games.
