Vukic gutted out a 6-4, 1-6, 6-1 win over David Goffin in the first round of the 2025 Hangzhou Open. The Australian overcame Goffin’s 13 aces by capturing 28 points behind the first ball and adding 22 more behind the second serves. He also converted on 3 of 4 breakpoint chances, two of which came in the deciding set. The win snapped Vukic’s three-match losing streak.
