It's time for the London derby in the Barclays Women's Super League (WSL) as Arsenal Women take on Chelsea Women at the Emirates Stadium on matchday eight. This match on Saturday between the fifth-placed Gunners and the top-ranked Blues comes with our prediction of an away win.
After seven rounds, Arsenal's 14 points (W4, D2, L1) put them three points outside the top three spots. Chelsea's 19 points (W6, D1) give them a slender one-point lead over Manchester City.
Arsenal won 4-1 away at Leicester last weekend to make it back-to-back wins in the league. This sequence came after they dropped points in three consecutive games prior (D2, L1).
The Gunners remain one of the most attractive sides, having scored a league-high 17 goals. They have scored only once each in their last two home games while winning four points in the process, although preceded by a 4-1 win here on matchday one.
Chelsea won 2-0 at home against London City Lionesses last weekend to make it a fourth win out of their last five league matches to come with a clean sheet. The Blues are still the best defensive unit in the league with only three goals conceded.
