Ukraine vs Kazakhstan Prediction & Betting Tips - World Cup
by Nella Wagah | in World Cup Prediction
Ukraine failed to build on the momentum they got in the Match Day 1 draw with France and could only register a 1-1 draw with Finland at home on Match Day 2. They will be hoping for a win finally when they host Kazakhstan on Match Day 3 in Group D. Kazakhstan is the only nation yet to register a point in the group, while Ukraine have two and are in third place. Against Finland, Ukraine must have smelled victory after taking the lead at home in the 80th minute. However, all changed eight minutes later with defender Vitalii Mykolenko getting sent off, and Teemu Pukki canceling Junior Moraes’ opening goal. The result left Ukraine winless in five matches, and with just two wins in 10. But they can bank on a good form at home to carry them through this clash; Ukraine have nine wins in their last 12 home matches.
Kazakhstan opened their campaign on Sunday against France and very early in the game, they were being forced to chase the game. The French took the lead after 19 minutes and looking to rise from their Match Day 1 draw with Ukraine, pushed on and forced Sergiy Maliy to score an own goal. That result now has Kazakhstan on three straight losses ahead of their game in Ukraine and they are without a win in the last seven matches. In their last 10 matches, Kazakhstan have two wins. They’ve managed just one clean sheet in the last five matches, and conceded two or more in their last three. The visitors are winless in the last three away matches and have managed just one win in five away matches and in World Cup qualification matches, away from home they are without a win in the last 14. They’ve failed to score in three of their last five away matches in World Cup qualification.

Our Ukraine vs Kazakhstan Prediction
Ukraine have drawn with very tough opponents, and going here they’ll have the favorites’ feel. They face a side that hasn’t been great in the World Cup qualification matches away from home. Though Ukraine are winless in their last few matches, they’ve shown good promise, and that will definitely come clear in this game. Kazakhstan have failed to score in three of their last five away World Cup qualification matches and meet a Ukraine side with nine wins in the last 12 home matches. Kazakhstan have conceded two or more in the last three matches, and we expect them to carry that here. Go for a 2-0 win for Ukraine.
