Nice and Nantes meet in the final of the Coupe de France at the iconic Stade de France. Nice have had a brilliant run to the final with the highlight being their round of 16 win against League 1 champions PSG. They followed this with a thumping 4-1 win against Marseille in the quarter final before beating Versailles 2-0 in the semi-finals. They have certainly had the more difficult path to the final and will be battle hardened for their fifth title match in the Cup. They have won three and lost one in their four finals. Nice have been in good form coming into this match winning three of their last four matches. Their away record though has not been great as they have only won one of their last eight matches. Nice coach Christophe Galtier is looking for his second trophy in two years after winning the League with Lille last season.

Nantes are three time former champions in this competition who made the finals after a tough win against Monaco in the semi-finals. They come into the finals on a poor run of results that has seen them win only two of their last eight league matches. Nantes are currently in ninth position in the league, nine points behind the Europa League positions. There are only three matches left in the season so there is not much chance of them qualifying for Europe via their league position. A win in the final will get them into the Europa League as the winner gets an automatic entry into the Europa league.
