Manchester United stayed in fifth place in the Premier League despite their loss at Liverpoo.l. They look to get back into winning ways when hosting 14th placed Burnley who beat Leicester City at home on Sunday. United rwon't be happy at losing at Anfield but defeats for Leicester City and Chelsea made it not too bad a weekend. They remain five points behind the final Champions League position but have to adapt to a few months without top scorer Marcus Rashford. The loss to Liverpool was their second straight away league defeat but home form has been much better. They have gone nine home league matches without a loss with three wins in the last four and 11 goals scored.

The past few weeks have been a struggle for Burnley but Sunday saw them defeat Leicester 2-1 at home. They had to come from behind to get that victory, ending a run of four successive league defeats. Burnley are now five points clear of the relegation zone and only seven behind United. Their away form is a worry though with three defeats in the last four. Six of their 11 away league games have been lost and another defeat looks on the way here.
